Additional support in the workplace

Nicola Green is a Global workplace speaker with a passion to change lives by providing ‘real life’ support and education for life’s challenges; whilst empowering all with knowledge and information for greater awareness and understanding around topics like menopause, grief, anxiety and more.

Whilst menopause support remains the core of the business, Nicola soon realised there was an additional need for her to home in on her skill set and provide further workplace wellbeing and inclusion topics and naturally she expanded her services with additional presentations and support.

Nicola Green Consultancy collaborates with Associates to provide additional supportive services. Such services are provided online, in person and a hybrid model.

Informative and Supportive Grief and Loss Presentation (“let’s start the conversation”)

Grief and loss are topics that are rarely discussed at home, let alone at work, and this presentation has been designed to provide information, support, and an opportunity for everyone to re-think our approaches to death, dying and loss of any kind and its impact within the workplace.

The presentation will include a lived experience, dispelling some myths, grief is not just about death, impact on emotions, information and facts and workplace supportive measures. Some of the topics covered may trigger emotion for some attendees and this is completely natural, respected and understood.

There is an additional section specifically designed for law firms.

Approximately 1 hour with Q&A.

Managers Grief and Loss Awareness Session

This presentation has been designed to guide managers to support grief and loss on a case by case basis and with a no one size fits all approach. Managers will learn the importance of why grief and loss need to be understood and supported and how they can do so.

The presentation will also include a lived experience, dispelling some myths, grief is not just about death, impact on emotions, information and facts, supportive measures, and real workplace scenarios. Some of the topics covered may trigger emotion for some attendees and this is completely natural, respected and understood.

Social Conditioning, Judgement and Self-Awareness Workshop

An interactive workshop for employees who want to lead positive change and are willing to consider changes to their own self-awareness.

An opportunity to consider how social conditioning and judgement can impact our responses and decision making in the workplace.

Nicola will openly share her own lived experiences of social conditioning and judgement together with her personal growth within self-awareness and the positive impact it has made.

The intention is for the attendees to be individuals who want to lead positive change and are willing to consider changes in their own self-awareness to do so. These individuals will then be able to share and listen to others and drive forward small steps in culture change and ultimately develop future social conditioning.

Fertility and Baby Loss – Supporting yourself and colleagues

Fertility challenges and baby loss can devastate lives, personally and professionally, and have a considerable impact on productivity, profitability, recruitment, and retention within organisations too. Yet these challenges are rarely openly discussed, especially in the workplace, leaving those who are affected struggling in silence.

These presentations are designed to break that silence, raise awareness, increase understanding, and instil confidence, so those who are affected feel able to speak out, and managers and colleagues feel equipped to provide meaningful support. They typically cover the nature and prevalence of different fertility challenges and treatments, or different types of baby loss, the personal and professional impact they can have on those affected, and suggestions for supporting yourself or colleagues struggling with these issues in the workplace. All presentations are tailored to the organisation and the audience, (line managers, HR managers, colleagues, or any other interested group), and additional support with policy, culture change, and employee or manager coaching can be provided on request.

Neurodiversity

Gain help in becoming a neuro-inclusive workplace and develop a neurodiversity programme for your organisation to create a workforce of diverse and skilled talent.

Nutrition

Many underestimate the positive impact good nutrition can have on our daily lives and this is particulary relevant during perimenopausal years. Small support group sessions are provided to help attendees on their own nutrition journey and to provide insight into encouraged foods to support symptoms and discouraged foods to help alleviate symptoms.

Team Building

Team building, workplace culture, values and vision can often go unnoticed until issues start to arise. A variety of support can be provided and can create efficient and productive teams, great workplace culture and clarity on individuals values and vision to be incorporated as a whole.
