My menopause presentations are not just for women going through menopause.
I always ensure every workplace I present to understands that my presentations are for all ages and genders and that all are invited.
Menopause does not just affect the person experiencing it. There is often a knock on effect to those closest to them; whether that be colleagues, partner, family or friends.
It is so important for those who are working/living or family/friends with a perimenopausal/menopausal woman to attend my presentations.
We all need knowledge, understanding and education to support each other.
I am always delighted to see a diverse audience in front of me, whether that be a presentation in person or online.
I was thrilled to present to an organisation this month where the majority of the audience was male!
How amazing to see these men understand the importance of attending to gain a better understanding and to enable them to support their colleagues, wives, partners, family and friends and, no doubt, help educate others in the future.
The knock on effects of menopause are not age or gender specific – it will undoubtedly affect most of us as some point in our lives.
Now is the time to get educated!
