We’ve all been there… “I’m going to eat better” “I’m going to join the gym” “I’m going to be more organised” and our intention is there and often this new regime lasts for a few weeks (if we are lucky) and then life happens again! What we then feel are emotions that are more destructive than never trying in the first place, as we didn’t succeed and some would tell themselves they have failed (again).
There were fundamental reasons why I created an 8WPPP for myself and here are some of them:
- Why put myself under pressure to do all ‘the things’ in two weeks – lets avoid the feeling of failure and encourage the feeling of accomplishment
- It was never just about eating, moving and getting organised – there was so much more I needed to consider to try and gain some ‘balance’ in my life
- I needed to sit, reflect, and learn from my previous attempts (over many years) and work out how to make the intentions turn into new habits
What were the results:
- An achievable, but challenging plan that kept regaining my focus over 8-weeks
- Growth as a person from stepping outside my comfort zone
- A happier, present and more contented me!
Why am I sharing this with you?
I choose to work really hard on myself, as it enables me to share my learnings (positive and negative) with my clients and that is why I am sharing this – because it works!!!
I’ve been on my own 8WPPPs for two years!!
Some clients are on level 3 (yes, there are currently 3 levels). Let me tell you why they keep coming back for more:
- They love the results
- It’s an opportunity for them to take some time to consider what they need
- They thrive on accountability and love sharing their ‘wins’
Within all sessions I am encouraging a switch in:
- Mindset
- Self-awareness
- Self-worth
The biggest message to everyone who has a plan is one simple word ‘CHOICE’. You choose what is on your plan. You choose whether you complete it or not. You choose your life. I just sow seeds and it is up to you to let them grow…
